HANDMADE MATERIAL WALLPAPER
What surprises those who touch our product for the first time is its texture. Never before has a wall been seen that rolls up and does not crumble.
A natural, certified product made of quality raw materials and zero VOC emissions, in full respect of nature.
The difference can be seen and touched by hand
All the Affreschi & Affreschi designs are reproduced on fresh plaster sheets. It is, therefore, a special wallpaper, covered with a layer of plaster obtained with a mixture of 27 precious raw materials, among which Carrara marble and Roman travertine, on which the masterpieces of Italian art history have been carved. Imagine having the marble chips fallen while Canova, Michelangelo, Bernini, and Raphael sculpted the works that made them the greatest in the world. Nowadays, with the same material, we get your walls covered to make them real masterpieces.
The output is a natural surface, to the touch and to the sight, that evokes that of the ancient frescoes made to measure and finished with care in every detail so that the chosen design emerges in all its beauty.
Customisable and bespoke designs: the luxury of uniqueness
From colours to dimensions, from subjects to inspirations: each design is a sartorial, lively, human project. Each product is customised and modulated to measure, taking into account every need (presence of doors, windows, furnishing accessories) and can always be previewed, when ordering, with a graphic draught of the customised project.
The strongest surface ever created for wall coverings
The standards of comfort and resistance to wear, water and dust of our handmade wallpapers are very high: they do not crease, do not detach and, with their porous surface, naturally breathable and free of plastic materials, they leave the wall free to breathe, favouring the necessary recirculation of oxygen between the external and internal environment.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Our handcrafted plaster has the largest format ever seen in the wallpaper craft: up to 160 cm x 500 cm for each sheet. These dimensions not only considerably reduce the number of joints and guarantee optimal aesthetic performance but also limit a very common defect in wallpaper: the misalignment between the various panels. To remedy this, a further step that we always carry out during the production phase is a scrupulous control of the image along the joints: if any imperfections are found, our masters intervene with targeted manual touch-ups to guarantee homogeneity to the final image.
